Socializeのその後

以前紹介したSocilizeですが、その後Kickstarterで目標金額に達しプロジェクトが開始されました。

当初の予定通り、オープンソースのコマンドライン SNSとして公開もされました。コマンドラインのシンプルなクライアントも公開され、Backerにはユーザー登録の案内が９月に来ています。

導入にはPythonの環境を作らなければなりませんが、シンプルなクライアントです。

Socialize CLI クライアント

SocializeのCLIクライアントは GitHubからインストールできます。Pythonの環境があれば、pip install socializeでインストール可能です。

導入するとsoclコマンドが使えるようになります。

主な機能は以下のようなものです。

Commands:
  find         Tool to find users and groups
  follow       Follow a specific user
  group        Group management
  hack         Supporter message: Try it out
  joke         Supporter message: Try it out
  kickstarter  Print all supporters
  login
  logout
  me           Shows current user
  medicine     Supporter message: Try it out
  message      Message management
  nicolaialex
  profile      Set profile details
  register     Register a new user
  shout        Shoutout management
  status       Status management
  unfollow     Unfollow a specific user
  user         Get a specific user by name
  wired        Supporter message: Try it out

実際の使い方は以下のような感じです。shoutがTwitterでいうツイートのような感じですね。

Username: yostos
Password:
Successfully logged in as yostos
[~ 22:24:31] $ socl shout post "How are you doing?"
Successfully posted a new shoutout
[~ 22:24:46] $ socl shout feed

まぁ、日本語も現時点では通らないですし、誰もいないのでほとんど意味はありませんが。
